Some kinda bizzaro experiment with the shading here.
Clearly I should leave the painted look to the pros. Not too much I can say about the style, it's certainly different, and surprisingly nothing at all like the original sketch I did to accompany this. Decided to go with Asch because he's probably the first Grey Deep character I actually remember hearing about. The other was probably Czen but that's a different story altogether. Anyway, this one's for  for no obvious reason aside from the fact she probably deserves it, possibly, maybe.  Over shaded to hell but we'll go with it for now.  EDIT: Changed the skin tone slightly. Keeping it pretty much as white as possible, but added a slightly warmer tone to the shadows so that he didn't look quite so undead. |
